Validus Holdings, Ltd. Announces Quarterly Common Share Dividend and Quarterly Preferred Share Dividends

PEMBROKE, Bermuda--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 9, 2017-- Validus Holdings, Ltd. (“Validus” or the “Company”) (NYSE:VR) announced today that its Board of Directors has declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.38 per common share. The common share dividend is payable on September 29, 2017 to shareholders of record on September 15, 2017.

In addition, the Board of Directors has declared cash dividends on the Company’s Series A 5.875% Preferred Shares and Series B 5.800% Preferred Shares of $0.3671875 and $0.3423611 per depositary share, respectively. The Series A and Series B Preferred Share dividends are payable on September 15, 2017 to shareholders of record on September 1, 2017.
